The AI Outbox

Why nothing the agent writes can send itself, and how the two taps work.

Nothing the agent writes can leave on its own. Every AI draft waits in the Outbox until your two taps, and every send holds five seconds for undo.

Every draft the agent writes — from the chat, a batch, a rule, or an AI you connected over MCP — lands in the AI Outbox and stays there until you press send. There is no other path out. It structurally cannot send on its own.

Two taps

Open the Outbox (O, the sidebar, or the + bar). Read a draft, edit it in place if you like, arm it, then confirm. Send all arms the whole list. Discard removes a draft without a trace in your mailbox.

Where a draft came from

Each draft wears an origin chip: the chat, a batch, a rule’s name, or the app that wrote it over MCP. Batches leave one receipt on the board; Discard batch undoes the whole set.

Review first

Flag a draft to sort it to the top for a closer read. Drafts flagged “review first” never ride a Send all.

After you send

The five-second undo hold applies here too. Sent drafts leave the Outbox and appear in your Sent frame.
